The Garden Gates Gardening Made Simple
Why Garden? | Easy As 1, 2, 3 | Planning | Materials | Success | Protecting | Watering | Maintenance | Enjoying

Make a list of all the things you'll need and gather your supplies during the week. That way, you don't spend your weekend just gathering materials.

If you can, apply Roundup after work on Monday or Tuesday because it needs a few days to begin working. When Saturday rolls around, get an early start & work at a steady pace--making sure to take breaks and drink plenty of water. Gardening is a great and productive way of burning unwanted calories. You can over-garden just like over-exercising. Over-gardening can result in aches & pains in your entire body the next day.

Planning

Now that we have given you a little direction for your new garden, it's up to you to make working in the garden enjoyable. Plan your gardening activities like you would a picnic or a day at the beach.

We all love to have beautiful surroundings. Gardening is a fabulous way of making your surroundings as beautiful as they can be. Coming home after a hard day and seeing the garden of your dreams and knowing YOU did it is a wonderful feeling.

Intimidation at the thought of changing your landscape is normal. This program is designed to take the worries away.

Make a few simple observations, take pictures and measurements, and meet with our design professionals and before you know it you will have completed your project.

It does take a little drive and the willingness to learn and try something new, but the end result is worth it. By doing your own analysis you will understand why and how the plants where planted. You will be able to anticipate problems before they happen and you will have developed the support of a team of professionals that are ready to solve any questions that may arise.
